The Thriller is Over

Yes, thats the truth. The greatest pop star ever has left us all in shock. Earlier in the morning I came to know about shocking demise of Michael Jackson (MJ). The King of Pop died allegedly of Cardiac Arrest. Reports are also coming in that the cause could have been 'an overdose of anti-anxiety drugs.' He was slated to perform at the O2 arena in UK from July 10.

MJ was not only the King of Pop, the music icon that he his was. His eccentric lifestyle led to his doom. Certainly during the controversies and cases that surrounded him during the past 10 years have drastically reduced his fan following. He was the epitome of hope for the masses. How a 'black man' overcame many struggles and went on to be a winner, an achiever in life. Certainly people like him are rare to come by.

Although his prime was even before I was born, I still liked the jive that he had. One of my favorite songs all time was 'They don't really care about us (in prison version).' Watch it below:

May his soul rest in peace. He will surely find the much needed peace he missed during his lifetime.
